Laboratory and workshop facilities
The College has benefited from a £3 million investment in academic and social facilities including completely refitted lecture theatres and teaching spaces, a major expansion and upgrading of our undergraduate computer facilities and social spaces.

The College has teaching laboratories covering most areas of Engineering, Physics, Geology and Mining and Minerals Engineering with a team of highly trained technical staff to support you.

Clean rooms
With the recent investment and refurbishment, the College now has advanced research facilities including clean rooms in the Physics and Harrison Building.
Imaging Suite
The Imaging Suite provides analytical services to internal, external and industrial clients for experimental applications at micro and nano scale.
Medical Research (MRI) facilities
The medical research facility is actively involved in a wide range of projects across many different fields including: Brain Function, Physiology, Cardiac & Vascular, Body Composition and Modeling of MRI data.
Camborne School of Mines
Camborne School of Mines provides specialist analytical and research facilities to students, academic staff, research partners and individuals and organisations from the business community.
QEMSCAN®
On our Cornwall campus we have QEMSCAN®, a sophisticated scanning electron microscope-based mineralogical assessment system which is a unique facility amongst UK universities.
