Teaching Awards

Students, academics and staff gather every year from the University of Exeter and Students’ Guild to celebrate exceptional teaching at the Teaching Awards Ceremony in May. Last year, guests enjoyed a drinks reception at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum whilst the winners of 10 categories were announced.

Any University of Exeter student can nominate someone for a teaching award. The award categories are also appropriate for non-academic staff, and seek to recognise all those involved I providing an exemplary academic experience for our students.

Teaching Award judges read every nomination submitted, and 2415 were submitted in 2014! Nominees are also sent a copy of the nomination, so use this as a chance to thank someone and share the impact of their hard work to others. All nominees will be invited to attend the gala ceremony as part of their recognition.
