MSc projects
The aim of the project, and associated dissertation, is to provide students with the opportunity to undertake individual research of a technical, management or combined nature at Masters level. The essence of the work is that students are able to demonstrate their ability to undertake their own piece of independent research, set their own goals and keep to their own working schedules.
For details concerning the requirements for the project/dissertation component of an MSc programme, please refer to the relevant module descriptor and ELE. As they become available, ELE pages will be updated with project lists, instructions and deadlines.
ECMM720: Financial Mathematics Project. Module coordinator: Mark Holland
ECMM721: Advanced Mathematics Project. Module coordinator: Mark Holland
University requirements concerning the submission of projects/dissertations can be found within the Statement of Procedures for the presentation of theses/dissertations.
The University also has a Code of Good Practice document which outlines what you can expect from your project/dissertation supervisor, Dissertation or Project Supervision/Tuition.
