The Forum Library is open 24/7 except on Christmas Day!

Exeter libraries

The Library holds an extensive collection of print and digital resources for your subject. Use Library Search to find print and digital resources (Books, e-books, journals, e-journals, conference papers etc.). Database collections can be accessed via the A to Z Database List. You can access the digital resources both on and off campus simply by logging in with your University username and password.

There are three libraries on the Exeter campuses: the Old Library houses specialist research materials, as well as the science print journals; St Luke’s Library supports courses in Education, Sports Science and Medicine; the Forum Library contains an extensive collection to support all our courses, and includes the Lasok Law Library.

The Forum library

The Forum Library is at the heart of the Streatham campus, within the Forum. It is open 24/7 throughout the year. Each of the three levels has a variety of study spaces: PC clusters, group and silent study rooms and individual work spaces. Wi-Fi is available throughout, and most seats are close to a power socket. There are also Accessibility Rooms equipped with specialist software, for use by students with accessibility needs. Additional quiet study space is available during exam time. Click here to find out more.

Our print book collection is arranged by classmark; most of the books you will need are in the 000s (computing) on Level -1, and in the 500s and 600s (mathematics, sciences and technology) on Level 0. Library Search will identify the exact location of the books you need.

Information on all aspects of Library resources, services and support can be found by searching the Library LibGuides, and your Subject Guide provides tailored information specific to your subject. The Academic Liaison Librarians can provide support and help you get the most from the Library resources.
