5 Personal Tutor
Your Personal Tutor is there to assist in your academic development, and to provide advice and guidance throughout your time at Exeter University. You will have a tutor group, with whom you will share academic tutorials. You can also request additional one-to-one tutorials with your tutor to discuss any matters of concern or for sign-posting for further assistance.
You will have six group tutorials in Year 1, four group tutorials in Year 2, and two group tutorials in Year 3. MGeol and MEng students will have one-to-one tutorials in their final year, as needed. If you have a problem and feel unable to discuss it with your tutor, you may make an appointment to discuss the matter in strictest confidence with the Senior Tutor, Dr. Kathryn Moore, or Info at Penryn (Peter Lanyon Building).
