• European funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), EcRoFit, adopting machine learning for energy efficiency solutions in buildings across Birmingham, project number: 12R19S03429 (£1,434,172, project ended in June 2023), Dr Shadi Basurra (PI), Prof Mohamed Gaber, Dr Mohammed Abdelsamea, Prof Atif Azad, Dr Khaled Mahbub, Prof Franco Cheung, Dr Monica Mateo-Garcia, Dr Elham Delzendeh, Dr Nouh Elmitwally – the project won the Property and Construction Tech Award at the West Midlands Tech Awards.
