Julia Dautova

Postgraduate Researcher (Metamaterials CDT 2015)

I graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunication (Russia) with BSc and MSc degrees with distinction in 2008. At that time my interest lied in DSP area, specifically my Master project was dedicated to signal processing algorithms in the channel with fading . But my career pursued a different path and I became a professional quality assurance analyst in software development. After 8 years of working in IT industry I obtained different technical and soft skills which allowed me to become an automated test engineer and test lead.

Joining CDT centre in Exeter, I am hoping to meet new challenges and gain new skills. Currently my research is focused on surface microwaves. For more details click here.
