I am a doctoral student in the Department of Environmental Mathematics. My field of study is applied mathematics and I work in its application to the field of wave energy converters. My interests include the modelling of dynamical systems, fluid mechanics and control system theory. I am currently working on hydrodynamic non-linear dynamical systems models of wave energy converters. I am also working on the application of adaptive-control strategies (reinforcement learning). Wave energy converters are a promising renewable energy technology with low environmental impacts.
