I am a PGR student at the Centre for Doctoral Training in Metamaterials at the University of Exeter. I work with Dr Tim Starkey and Professor Alastair Hibbins to explore how metamaterials can be used to focus underwater sound.
I did my bachelor's in mathematics at the University of Exeter and graduated in 2022, I then went straight into a PhD. The title of my PhD is: "Use of Metamaterials for the Focussing of Underwater Sound", the goal will be to create/design metamaterials which act like acoustic lenses.
