Dr Madi Dibaj is a Senior Lecturer specialising in Engineering Management. She holds a robust academic background, having earned her BSc in Mechanical Engineering, an MSc in Business Management, and a PhD in Engineering from the University of Exeter. Dr Dibaj's research interests are centred around the strategic management of engineering projects with a focus on cultivating sustainable urban environments and communities. Her work extends to the development of innovative products and technologies, primarily aimed at mitigating the effects of climate change. Dr Dibaj also excels in conducting in-depth life cycle assessments of emerging technologies, and she possesses a keen interest in the integration of waste, food, energy, water, and environmental considerations through the lens of sustainable material development and manufacturing. In recognition of her commitment to education and academic excellence, Dr Dibaj is honoured to hold the title of Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Additionally, she actively contributes to the Department of Engineering's Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity (EDI) initiatives, where she plays an instrumental role in championing the advancement of women in the field of Engineering.
