Muhammad is a PhD student in the Renewable Energy Department, working in offshore wind Energy under the supervision of Prof Philipp Thies and Prof Mario Recker. His PhD research delves into the intricate domain of offshore wind energy, specifically focusing on risk management strategies for offshore wind construction and operation insurance programs. His research aims to enhance the understanding of potential risks associated with offshore wind farms, proposing innovative risk assessment frameworks and methodologies. Additionally, the project investigates state-of-the-art condition monitoring systems to ensure the reliability and efficiency of wind turbine systems. The integration of machine learning, data analytics, and risk management techniques forms the core of this comprehensive exploration into optimizing the performance and sustainability of offshore wind energy.
