Dr James Webber
Lecturer in Water Systems Engineering
Dr James Webber is a Lecturer in Water Systems Engineering at the University of Exeter and Programme Director of the Water Engineering MSc.
James is responsible for developing research and teaching in sustainable, resilient and smart water management and translating this into practical application through engaging academic, industry and governance stakeholders.
James' research includes stormwater management, flood resilience, green infrastructure design and strategic decision support across the international water sector.
Prior to joining the CWS, James has held positions as a Research Impact Fellow in the Land, Environment, Economics and Policy Institute (University of Exeter), a visiting researcher in the Waterway Ecosystem Research Group (University of Melbourne) and as an Urban Water Planning Consultant (Halcrow, CH2M Hill).
