Network Operations Manager UK Metamaterials Network

I completed my undergraduate studies and an MA in Medieval History at the University of York prior to undertaking a PhD in history at the University of Exeter, submitting my thesis in September 2019. I worked in a part-time lecturering and teaching role in the History and Politics Departments of the University of Exeter before moving into the University's Quality and Standards team in September 2020 and then into the Degree Apprenticeship team in February 2021 as the New Programme Development Officer. As New Programme Development Officer I oversaw the development of numerous new apprenticeships, working closely with academic, industry and governmental stakeholders.
As of September 2023, I have been working as the Network Operations Manager for the UK Metamaterials Network. For this role, I have been responsible for day to day operational management and planning of the UK wide Metmaterials Network, collaborating with stakeholders across academia, industry, government agencies and funding bodies.
