I maintain the Physics computer/electronics repair workshop, which provides hardware support to maintain approximately 200 Apple computers and >450 PC's and laptops in the department. Not only do I carry out a wide range of repair work to Mac's PC's and laptops, but also build bespoke high end PC's for specific research applications; along with providing advice and expertise in interfacing computers to scientific lab equipment.
I can provide advice, obtain best prices and arrange purchase of IT and electronic equipment ranging from basic desktop, printing, storage and network equipment, to high performance computers and data acquisition systems used in scientific research.
I also provide Helpdesk/Desktop support for MS Windows, Mac and Linux Operating systems.
