Overview

I studied zoology at the University of Exeter for 4 years and thoroughly enjoyed learning about our planet and its inhabitants, and how to conserve biodiversity. I completed my undergraduate research project on using oak gall wasp communities as a model system for maintaining biodiversity. My postgraduate research project investigated the impact of exposure to the emerging contaminant 'oxybenzone', which is present in many sunscreens, on animal behaviour.

I am now taking my interest in conservation in a slightly different direction by researching the circular economy as part of a feasibility study with Camborne School of Mines. I work with companies to help them responsibly source various materials such as technology metals, to ensure these metals have a long period of use.
