Dr Ahmad S Galadanci is a Lecturer in Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Exeter. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng. Civil) at Kano University of Science and Technology, Kano, Nigeria. He further received his Masters (MSc Structural Engineering with Management) and PhD in Civil Engineering at Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom. Prior to joining University of Exeter, Ahmad worked as a lecturer in Civil Engineering at Bayero University Kano, Nigeria. Thereafter he joined Nottingham Trent University as a researcher and part-time lecturer where he worked on Bioregional Project. Furthermore, he worked as an Energy Consultant at Nottingham Energy Partnership where he worked on various projects such as REMOURBAN (European Project).
Ahmad’s Doctorate (PhD) was awarded for “Building Energy Investigation Framework” and his main research interest include:
· Building Energy Simulations
· Sustainability in Civil and Structural Engineering
· Finite Element Modelling (Structures and heat transfer)
