Students studying abroad

5.3 Studying Abroad

The College encourages its students to study abroad as part of their undergraduate degree programme, while for some programmes such study may be compulsory. Such studies may be undertaken at a European institution under the auspices of the European Union-funded Erasmus programme, or at a university elsewhere in the world through an exchange programme. There are also placements arranged through the British Council or in the case of Russia RLUS. You will be contacted during the year with more information about opportunities.

The University does in certain circumstances, allow exemption from the year abroad. See the University policy on Accreditation of Prior Learning

For more information see the ‌University guidance for the year abroad, the intranet Study Abroad section, or contact the College Study Abroad team at humanities-studyabroad@exeter.ac.uk
