6.2 Taking Modules Outside Your Subject(s)/"Modularity"

Depending on the modules required by your degree programme (see your Undergraduate programme specifications), undergraduate students normally have the right to take modules to the value of 30 credits at each stage from outside their programmes (sometimes known as "modularity"). If studying a Combined Honours programme, you should aim to take these credits as evenly as possible out of each of your existing chosen subjects. Modules in a range of languages are available through the Foreign Language Centre in Queen’s (Streatham Campus) which can enhance your programme and improve your employability. FLC modules can also be taken as evening classes (not for credit).
