5.10 ACADEMIC MISCONDUCT INCLUDING PLAGIARISM

Academic Misconduct includes all forms of cheating in an assessment, which the University defines as any illegitimate behaviour which may deceive those setting, administering and marking the assessment. Cheating in a University assessment is a very serious academic offence, which may lead to expulsion from the University.

This and the following University definitions are taken from the TQA Manual: http://admin.exeter.ac.uk/academic/tls/tqa/Part%208/8Lplag1.pdf
