The exam is broken into four areas. Please click on the links below to do the practice activities.
You may need to print out some of the question sheets. For the
listening tests you will need to download the mp3 files to your
computer and/or mp3 player.
When you have done the test please take the results for each section to the Learning Resources centre for further advice.

Example of the speaking test
(you might find practicing this with a friend and recording your
conversation useful - if you want live practice with an IELTS examiner
please make a GIL appointment and put 'IELTS practice interview'
alongside the appointment - you will need to book a half hour slot)
