5.4 Leaving the University

Students thinking about withdrawing must speak to their Personal Tutor, discipline Senior Tutor or Education Team Welfare Advisor as soon as possible. There are many other options available to students such as HWSSP (Health, Wellbeing, Support for Study Procedures), however if none of these are appropriate please contact the Humanities Education Team (Streatham) or Education Support Services (Penryn) for advice on the next steps. Students should also consult the Student's Guild or Union as there may be implications on funding.

If students have passed assessments in certain modules it is possible to use the credits in accredited prior learning agreements with the University of Exeter or other Universities in the future. This may allow students to be granted exemptions in a programme. Please note however that Exeter credits are only valid for this purpose for five years after leaving. More information on this can be provided by the Education Support Team (via the info point).
