DESCRIPTION - summary of the module content
AIMS - intentions of the module
The module familiarises students with several Level 2 mathematical topics (e.g. further calculus, differential equations) encountered in applied problems on other Modules, assisting them in developing a high level of expertise as regards their application to engineering-related areas. A further aim of this module is to act as a necessary preparation for more advanced mathematical techniques encountered on Module CSM2276 (Mathematics 2B) in the second Semester.
