AIMS - intentions of the module
To broaden the understanding of the operations and management of a variety of industrial organisations and provide the student with a greater degree of industrial awareness than would be gained from a purely theoretical lecture programme. It is intended that MEng students will graduate with instantly usable management confidence and skills.

Multi-nationals, their structure and operation. Industrial Design and Marketing. Innovation and the small company and the raising of finance. Patenting, copyright, and IPR. Detailed analysis of some aspect of a local company.
