Finding a computer

Visit the University's IT Facilities information for a campus wide list of computer room locations and opening hours. Alternatively, IExeter the new University app, allows you to check PC Availability on the Streatham campus whilst you are on the go.

Harrison building

  • 47 Windows computers in each of the rooms 207 & 208 (dividing partition can be removed);
  • 30 Windows computers in room 258 (the Red Room);
  • 30 Linux computers in room 257 (the Blue Room).

Physics building

  • 41 iMac computers available in room 309. (When not being used for classes/exams these are generally available to students 9 - 5 with some late evening access.);
  • 16 iMac computers available in the Part 1/2 lab room 119 (mainly for Undergraduate use) 9am - 17:00pm;
  • 8 iMac computers available in the Part 3 lab room 121 (mainly for Undergraduate use) 9am - 17:00pm;
  • 22 Imac computers available on 5th floor open study area. (mainly for mPhys use) 9am - 17:00pm;
  • 20 Windows PCs available in Part 1/2 lab room 119 - these are used to run Undergraduate teaching experiments, but are available when no lab classes are scheduled; 9:00am - 17:00pm;
  • 8 Windows PCs available in Part 3 lab room 121 9:00am - 17:00pm.
